St. Mark Lutheran Church is a vibrant, multigenerational congregation on the east side of
Rockford, Illinois.
We are delighted that you have chosen to visit our website and learn more about our exciting ministries. As you view the various links, we hope you will gain a positive sense of our enthusiasm and passion for "Growing in Faith, Sharing God's Grace."
We are confident that you will find numerous opportunities to participate in the life of our congregation and to experience God's unconditional love, forgiveness, and grace.
St. Mark has a strong emphasis on worship, music, youth, education, spiritual formation, and service to others - key characteristics of a healthy, growing church. As we seek to expand each of these areas of ministry, we invite you to join us in our celebration of the Christian life.
Carefully examine the many descriptions of our ministries and prayerfully consider where God might be calling you to participate. Please feel free to contact me or any of the St. Mark staff with your questions or comments.
Again, we thank you for visiting the St. Mark web page, and we invite you to consider making St. Mark your church home. We look forward to seeing you soon!
